Using archives

ForkLift let's you open archives as if they were simple read-only folders. All file operations are available including copy, preview and much more. This feature works seamlessly on remote connections (FTP, Bluetooth etc.), too.

It is also possible to create new zip archives:

Select items to add.

Choose File > Create Archives.

Enter the name of the archive into the dialog.

By checking create in place the archive will be created in the folder of the selected items.
