Connecting to servers
ForkLift enables you to connect to FTP and SFTP servers.
To connect to an FTP/SFTP server select Go > Connect to FTP/SFTP Server.
Enter the server's hostname or IP address (and modify the port number if necessary).
Enter username and password or leave the fields blank for anonymous access.
You may optionally enter a directory path to open in the path field.
Select the protocol you wish to use from the drop-down menu.
(Not all servers support every protocol. Try both FTP with TLS/SSL and SFTP for increased security.)
You may choose to store your password in the OS X keychain, so you will not be prompted for it every time you connect.
If you choose to add you connection to favorites, you can access it later with a single click.
Press Connect to start the connection.
You can disconnect by selecting File > Disconnect or pressing the 
button in the Volumes section of the Sidebar.
