Search and filters
The Search box has two functions which can be selected by clicking on

The search feature instantly starts a Spotlight search down the current folder as you start typing in the search box. Results are presented in the active pane.(Search is currently available on local volumes only.)
The filter feature enables you to filter items shown in the active pane. When a filter term is entered ForkLift will only show items with matching names.
